The AutoMagicKB provides the framework and foundational elements necessary to create model-driven SOA Service Contracts - representing people and systems interacting to achieve goals!
Separation of Concerns - The AutoMagicKB enables solution agility by supporting the proven technique of separation of concerns. Four primary Stakeholders are recognized: Business & System (platform-independent concerns), Implementation & Deployment (platform-specific concerns). Traceability of Concerns - The AutoMagicKB models cross-cutting concerns that are common to all Stakeholders by using the concepts of: Goal, Role, Boundary, Process, Policy & Entity. Model-Driven - The AutoMagicKB is architected to be model-driven and supports the auto-generation of Platform-Specific representations of Implementation & Deployment Stakeholder concerns from the Platform-Independent models of the Business & System Stakeholder concerns. NGOSS-styled - The AutoMagicKB integrates and extends the industry best practices embodied in the TM Forum NGOSS standards for Architecture, Boundary, Process and Entity: TNA, TAM, eTOM and SID, respectively. Common Language and Vocabulary - AutoMagicKB uses UML as the common language for expressing Stakeholder concerns and NGOSS as the basis for the common vocabulary used to define those concerns. |
